Today we honour the memory of 23-year-old American peace activist, RachelCorrie who on this day in 2003, was crushed to death by an "israeli" bulldozer while undertaking nonviolent direct action to protect the home of a Palestinian family in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, from demolition.
Rachel was a college student, activist & member of the #InternationalSolidarityMovement who travelled to Gaza during the Second Intifada. She was brutally murdered after being deliberately run over by a bulldozer operated by the
"israeli" occupation. Scores of homes had already been crushed; Corrie was one of eight American and British volunteers acting as human shields for local families.

After they finished their breakfast, Hamza and his family were praying at the moment the occupation bombed their house, where all his family members were martyred and only he survived.
