This is crazy: Despite being boarded and told that the plane was “good to go” by DEI inspections-

An American Airlines pilot made the tough call to cancel his 6 hour flight over Hawaii waters because the oil pressure in his engines was trending upwards. He then made everyone get off the plane before take-off.

DEI Inspections tried to glaze it over and tell the pilot that essentially “we’ll fix it when you get back” but he refused to put everyone on the plane at risk.

God bless this pilot for making the tough call to protect his passengers, more than likely saving their lives.
