I saw a real change in my daughter after the concussions (all took place while playing high school and college soccer....she was a goalie and got kicked in the head on 3 separate occasions and another time, a goal fell on her head). Diane, if concussions cause a chemical imbalance that can create narcissitic behavior, is there a cure other than therapy? Is there a way to rebalance the chemicals in the brain? Thank you.

TBH…I was the one waking up over the past 4 years. I had a radical encounter with Jesus with the help of a family intervention. I was the narcissist and the alcoholic. A narcissist can change but it took Jesus. I have not had a drink of alcohol in 556 days. I’m in a phase of restoring my relationships with my family. I was an alcoholic for 10 years so I expect this will take some time to fully heal. But Jesus is with my kids as they heal as well. AA was something I tried for a minute but couldn’t jump into so I stopped going after a month. The higher power AA keeps talking about has a name and deserves all credit and rightful respect…God!

Your work is incredible. I taught as a substitute for 10 years and was able to watch several behaviors. It always seemed to me that when children were naughty and didn't focus the answer always seemed to be to put them on meds. It is promoted. Most children come to school without a balanced breakfast which is obvious by the number of children being fed breakfast at school. We were told to give only 15 minutes of recess. Children need fresh air and sunshine. It's the best medicine. I remember more about the playground as a child than what I learned in class. Children were happier, healthier and more receptive to learning.

I believe in FORGIVENESS and that a Narcissist can heal!

I always have faith in people!

How do they get like that?

We are Not perfect and I have seen changes in a lot of people over the past three years!

(Especially when they turn to Jesus)
